Ski Shores: Hot Rods and Kustoms
What started out as a small gathering on an old football field of like-minded gearheads, artists and musicians who love traditionally-styled Hot Rods and Kustoms, has grown into annual tradition right here in Austin, Texas.

Its now a great big car show with amazing rides driven here from all over the country, its a killer live music festival, its some seriously talented artists, pinstripers & unique shopping, its great food and cold drinks, its folks and friends and families getting together.

After a day spent checking out the traditionally-styled Hot Rods and Kustoms, the guys and gals from Lone Star Rod & Kustom Roundup headed out to Ski Shores Cafe on Lake Austin on April 11. They enjoyed a beautiful Hill Country cruise out to a classic burger joint to taste the new menu, grab a drink from the full bar and enjoy the company of like-minded gearheads and the special musical entertainment.

As many of you know, the Ski Shores Cafe just invested in a fantastic renovation project.  We’ve maximized our space, added an outdoor wrap-around bar, including a children’s play area and so much more.  Here are a few key pictures of our renovations to help you to visualize the before and after.
